This blog will continue show the photos that I take as I live and vacation in Japan. I particularly love to walk and have a strong interest in Buddhism and Shinto so I will be showing the temples, shrines and other interesting things that I discover.

Tomorrow's mountain
Tomorrow we will leave our packs at the lodge and climb to the temple at the top of the tall mountain in the middle of the picture - a round trip of about 7 km and 430 m high. After picking up our packs, we will walk 13 km to our hotel.
