Since there was no reason to stay on this platform and I knew that the Shinkansen would never stop here, I went up the escalator.
At the top of the escalator there was a large open area. I followed the signs for the Shinkansen and after a relatively short walk, I found the wickets and entered the Shinkansen section of the station.
A sign indicated that my train, Nozomi 201, was going to depart from track 23.
So, I took another escalator up to Tracks 23 and 24, where I waited for my train.
