My bag of Buddist Things

The white thing with writing is a bag for carrying the other stuff. The orange thing on the left is the book in which I get stamps and calligraph at each temple. The white things on the book are slips of paper I recieve at each temple. The slips show the Buddha worshipped there. The yellow box contains insence and the blue candles. The dark red book contains the Heart Sutra.

Carrying the bag tells everyone you are an Ohenro san. You see many different combinations, from complex to simple, but almost everyone has a bag.

I can see "Dogyoninin" on the white one. It means your are walking with kobotaishi, right?
