Ever onward

 Leaving the shrine, I continued to explore the narrow lanes. Most of them had walls protecting the gardens in front of the houses which tended to be at the back of the lot.

 Looking in through the driveway, I saw a large number of bonsai, which is a fairly common hobby.

I had come here with the idea of visiting the Buddhist temple that I can see from the shinkansen when I go into Fukuoka city. My map was very difficult to read, but I final saw the temple's roof in the distance.
