You can not see it in the pictures but there was what appeared to be a pod of whales or dolphins playing in the waves. Ian and I watched them for a long time.
This shows the view we had, but without the telephoto lens. It was very nice, peaceful and calm, completely appropriate for the Pilgrimage.
It was finally time to go and check in at the temple lodge, so we passed back through the built-up area around the main hall. These trees are typical of the treatment that they get from the gardeners.
As we left the temple area and were about to enter the lodge grounds, we discovered this beautiful Christmas cactus growing out of the cracks in a stone wall.
Then we found this little shrine standing on a man-made island in the middle of a small man-made pool. Ian went out to it so that you could see the size.
