Mita Hachiman Shrine again

 This strange looking trees was beside the main building. In shrines and temples as well as private gardens, people train trees into interesting and artistic shapes. It is very much like make larger scale bonsai.

 This is the entrance to the main shrine building. As you can see it is very small, about 4 meters on a side and square.

 This is the view of the front of the building.

 On the way home, I passed this little pond.

I do not know what the name of this plant is but it looked like a snow drift with slightly green tinted snow.
