Art in the shrine

 As in many of the shrines around here, there are pictures hanging up under the eaves. This picture almost looks like something Christian, but it is not. It is apparently a scene from a story associated with the god of the shrine.

 You can see the above picture in the upper left.

Here is another of the pictures. It shows two samurai fighting on a beach. Again this is probably a scene from a story associated with the shrine or the god.
