More Ama Shrine

 Here is a close up of the door to the altar. It is interesting that the picture above the right side of the door is completely faded but still hanging there.
 Looking toward the right of the shrine through the space for ceremonies. I was surprised to find that there were no pictures up under the roof. The are boards with the names of the big doners, but no pictures oather than the faded one shown above.
This is beside the entrance to the grounds. You can see the street on the left. The tree is a cherry has been trimmed many times. The other interesting thing here is an example of the Buddhist practice of making piles of rocks. Someone has placed a rock on top of the post marking the entrance. These piles of stones are meant to represent the stupa or grave of the Buddha.
