Various places

This is at Miyagi Gakuin U and shows the last major reconstruction of damage from the quakes. The little coffee shop, which I seldom go to, was very badly damaged inside but they have rebuilt it. The last of the outside scaffolding and other stuff is being removed and then they will replace the furniture which was all smashed when the ceiling fell.

Someone has crushed down the reeds so that there is an open view down the 45 degree slope.
In the early days after the quakes, I showed one of the first workcrews that I saw. They were building a little garden in Suisen Dori, the pedestrian way that comes out of Izumi Chuo. Well, as expected, the area is complete overgrown with weeds and no longer beautifies the area.
If you saw the previous pictures and remember them, there was a line of cut tree branches that had been decorated by children. This is the way they look now, buried in weeds.
The side entrance to Selva is now usable. They built a temporary roof over it so that any tiles that fall off the wall will not hit a potential customer.
