Yamadera

 After lighting the incense, I went up the steps and looked inside.

 Hanging high on the wall was a mandala with many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

 In the doorway was a statue with many children. On the left was a shop where you could buy amulets and other things. There was a monk siting just behind the doors.

 We left that building and started walking toward the entrance to the path up the hill, maybe I should have said "the stairs up the hill".

This stele had many small red and white statues placed in front of it. Also red and white plastic flowers.
