Walking

 I crossed a nice little bridge. The lines on the right side of the surface of the bridge are for people who are blind. You can feel the lines through the soles of you feet. Most sidewalks in Sendai have these lines, also subway and train stations.

 This is piles of stone that have been removed from buildings that were destroyed by the earthquakes.

 For some reason this picture will not stay on its side. The right edge is actually the bottom of the picture. It shows a very steep driveway with hand drawn lines in the concrete that hopefully will provide traction when there is snow on the ground. The green appears to be the remains of a layer of paint.

Returning home, I found this beautiful bird, dining in the river next to my apartment complex.
