As we neared the Green Mart supermarket, we walked through pedestrian path through a housing area. The round stone sculptures were all wearing snow caps.
After stopping at Green Mart to buy coffee beans we continued toward home. Along the way there is a gazebo. We stopped for a bit and cleaned the snow off our shoes.
Once passed the gazebo, we came to the small pond. From here on a normal day you can see the athletic dome, but today it looked like it has gone to someplace with better weather.
We stopped at the Izumi Ward office to check on the status of the new paperwork for registering foreigners. In the garden in front of the building the statues of the naked boys looked very cold.
The one that is sitting up looked particularly uncomfortable. I will be that they like the summer better. We enter and found that my name has been enter into the new register, but the process for getting an ID card has still not reached Sendai, in spite of being in full swing in the Tokyo area.
