Hidden in a corner beside a building was a small graveyard. In case you don't know, Japanese graveyards do not contain bodies. Almost everyone here is cremated and the ashes are usually kept at home or in a jar in a special building in a temple. The graveyards contain a stone structure (sometimes with a few ashes) the represents the spirits of the dead for the entire family.
The stairs to the main hall and the roof of another building, probably containing the home of the priest.
The pagoda from a better angle.
