I decided that, since I would pass the shrine on my way home, I would stop in for a while. The shrine is in the middle of the block so the torii is at the end of a long narrow road. I think the name is Jiryoku Jinja, but I am not sure. No one ever uses the name, just referring to it as the shrine.
This little building, which is just behind the torii, is where you wash your hands to purify yourself before greeting the god.
