This is looking back toward the theater. The name of the theater/gaming complex is Korona World.
High up on the wall in front of us were signs listing the names of the stores in this part of the shopping center. Notice the one in the middle of the top row. It is a beauty shop. The one to the left of it is called Card Kingdom. The kids here are in the midst of a craze over card games, ones where they collect cards by buying or trading. There are several different games and the details are different but basically the game is to put out some cards and the winner gets all the cards. Most of the games have monsters or something like that in them and the cards represent individuals, their qualities and abilities, and weapons. They seem to be more popular than electronic games.
We weren't the only ones sitting there waiting for something.
The shopping mall is basically no smoking but here and there you can find small outdoor smoking areas with ashtrays. This man stopped for a smoke at the spot nearest us.
