In most places in Sendai, even the public trash is divided into burnable, plastic, and PET. However, near where we were sitting there was a type of trash can that I had never seen before. It was for plastic bottle caps. The PET bottles went into the can you can just see on the left. In homes we always separate the caps and the the plastic sleeves from the PET bottle, but I had never seen a provision for it in a public place.
It was almost time for Harry Potter to start so we entered the theater and bought our tickets. We both can not get an 'old people's' discount so it only cost 1000 yen each. We stopped at the refreshment stand, in the distance in the picture below, and got popcorn and took our seats.
After enjoying the movie, we exited the theater complex and decide to eat in this restaurant. It specializes in ramen, noodles in soup with various thing on it.
From our seats we could see into the kitchen and watched them make our meal. I had ramen with lots of vegetables on the top.
