Some restaurants

This is one of the most important signs to know if you visit Japan, eigyochu. It means "open for business". If a store or restaurant is displaying this sign,  you can enter and buy things or get a meal.
The above restaurant is a fast food tempura restaurant. This is a large photograph that is at the side of the parking lot. The writing at the bottom says, tempura teishoku 680 yen. In English this might be "the fixed menu tempura meal 680 yen".
Just down the street is another fast food store, Kentucky Fried Chicken. On the right side of the pillar is a banner saying that they are taking reservations for your Christmas chicken.
