More around Nanakitagawa River

Behind the gray wall, there used to be an apartment building. It was empty for a year and then the last time I came by here they had it covered with tarps.

Before the quakes, this was a game center. Most of the windows were broken and there was obviously internal damage from the tremors. The last few times I passed here, they were working on restoring the building. That work is now almost finished and the building is going to be a fishing equipment and bait shop.
In Japan when a new business opens, they put up these large round displays. They are a little different in different parts of Japan but they are very common. Also stores that are open frequently display lots of flags.
At the back of the story there were more flags. My apartment complex is on the horizon in the middle.
