Inside the station building there is a long row of aquariums. The contain specimens of the fish that are found in the local rivers and the few small ponds.
This is what they look like from the front. The tanks are well taken care of and are always clean and neat. It appears that the station staff must regularly feed the fish and clean the filters.
Directly in front of the aquariums is a small food court. The food is very cheap and consists mostly of noodles, curry and fried stuff. I often see small groups of elderly men sitting here in the afternoon chatting and enjoying a beer together.
