Continuing on

I walked by a large building that houses a stone cutter(? not sure what the correct term is). These are stone lanterns and other objects to go in gardens. On interesting thing is that they are stored beside the street on unlocked shelves. I assume that there is little theft, or else they would store them someplace more secure.
This is a hotel, actually a love hotel. You can take a room for just a few hours. These are very popular because Japanese houses are small and crowded. Married couple will go to a love hotel to get a few hours of privacy.
This is the sign you can see in the above picture. The right side gives the prices for different times of day and different qualities of rooms. It also says that they serve three meals a day and that breakfast is free. The left side says that they have various extras, like a sauna and movies.
