On this day, after stopping near the station for a haircut, I decided to go looking for two shrines that are in the area between the Naka River and the stream, the name of which I do not know. As I started north from the station, a shinkansen train came by.
I walked north and then turned west along a main street. Finally, after crossing the stream, I turned left into the housing area where the shrines are supposed to be located.
I soon found a park with a huge wisteria. You can see the trunk between the two posts. I will have to try and remember to visit here next summer when this is in bloom, it should be very pretty.
