More walking

 This is a typical side street in this area. Old one-story Japanese style homes but here and there there are buildings that would not be noticed in the US.

 Most of this area was rice paddies and small truck gardens in the not too distant past. Many of the gardens remain in the spaces between the houses and other buildings.

Back out on the main road I got a good look at the large new building that is under construction.
