Out for exercise 02

 Just passed the Macdonalds there is an intersection with a traffic light. I had never been up the road toward the north so I decided that that was the way I was going to go. At first the road just went up a slight incline and entered a housing area.

 On of the houses had a Japanese style gate at the end of the driveway and a round window in the wall of the entrance way (genkan in Japanese).

Eventually I came out on a road that I frequently use and decided that I would climb up to the Shinto shrine on the top of the highest point in the area. At the foot of the stairs was a very strange metal sculpture. I did not see any sign so I do not know who made it or what the title is. Maybe the sign was under the snow.
