A trip into town 05

 This is the directory for a building. Royal Host is a family restaurant chain. The food is okay but absolutely nothing special. The place above it is more interesing. the sign says "Isn't It?" actually the name is "Bar Isn't It?". This is also a chain. It is very popular with young people. They do not check IDs very closely so the place is full of young people. The music is loud and the drinks are watered. I have been once or twice but is was at least 10 years ago. I would find the place unbearable today.

 Just to show that Sendai is civilized, this is one of the many Kentucky Fried Chicken shops in town. We have one about a kilometer from my apartment.

 Just to show that this is really Japan, this large crab is over the door to a chain restaurant that specializes in crab dishes. Since I do not eat crab, I do not go there.

This store is just down from the crabby restaurant. It is the Disney store and it sells dolls, figurines, and other stuff produced by Disney. Each time there is a new hit movie, they sell stuff related to it.
