This is the entrance to the Admin building. The outside walkway has dropped substantially in relation to the building, but this is better than the main door which will not even open.
This shows how the damage extends all around the building. As I have explained before, the earthquake insurance will not cover any of this because the building itself is not damaged structurally.
This is the police practice area across the road. There are some cops standing around in front of the door. The curved structure in the distance is a shed where the 'rich guy' keeps his mechanized farming equipment.
This is at Miyagi Gakuin U. The tall tower is a steeple and behind it is a large chapel. Both of the universities that I teach at are Christian and require the students to attend chapel occasionally, but the faculty are mostly non-Christian as are the students.
This is toward the rear of the campus. I have one class in the brick faced building on the left.
Another view of the steeple and chapel. I apologize for the poor lighting but at this time of year the weather is very British - no sun and lots of rain.
