Nanakita Park

This is a one piece of set of exercise equipment. The directions for its proper use are on the illustrated sign.
Here is the entire set. This sort of think seems to be becoming more popular and many parks are installing similar equipment. I am not sure how long this has been here but it is relatively new.
Before the earthquakes the top of this manhole was at ground level. It is fascinating, to me anyway, how so much of the underground piping rose during the tremors. Apparently the smaller sand and stones moved downward, pushing the pipes up.
The area where the statues sit on the benches with the horticultural building and the soccer stadium in the background.
These flowers were beside the entrance road and near the pay parking lot.
I took this while waiting for a green light in order to cross the street. The building is the Izumi Chuo Station Building.
