Fairly near home

 This is a little neighborhood park a couple of kilometers north of my condo. There are little parks like this all of the city. They are about the only place where kids can play outdoors, not that most of them have time to play once they start kindergarten.

 This drugstore with an apartment building behind used to be a bowling alley.

 This is the graveyard associated with a Buddhist temple. It is near the peak of the highest land in the area. A road goes through a small pass between this high spot and the very highest point. There is a Shinto shrine at the highest point.

This is a very strange little building and I have no idea what it is for. It does not look like a home or a company.
