Earthquake Diary 62

 This the supermarket in Ito Yokado, the first time that we shopped inside after the quake. It was very crowded but as usual every one was polite and orderly. We bought as much as we could carry.
 This outside the ground floor of Selva. The column supports a bridge on Suisen Dori (the pedestrian road). The movement of the column during the quake caused the tiles to break.
 This is the view from beside the column in the last picture. Overhead is Suisen Dori and this level leads out to the main road.
 This is the Jodo Shinsu Temple near my apartment. I do not know how much damage there was but the truck belongs to a construction company and they seemed to be working on some sort of repairs.

Spring is here! The daytime temperatures are now between 10 and 20 degrees C and the flowers are taking full advantage as you can see in the next two pictures.
