This is still in Nanakita Koen, actually just outside the east exit. You can see how badly cracked the road is. I was really surprised at the width of the open space, although I have since seen bigger.
This a feeder stream to our river, where the banking has collapsed and been covered with a blue tarp.
Here is a closer look at the damage.
This is the top of the levee that is opposite the collapsed area. This side must have come very close to falling, too.
From the same spot but looking down at the river, I could see a temporary road that they are building so that the equipment can get near the collapsed section.
This is the sidewalk on the new bridge. It has dropped close to 15 centimeters.
