Earthquake Diary 76

This is the grave yard associated with a Buddhist temple a couple of kilometers from my home. Notice the crane on the left. It is being used to replace the grave stones that have fallen during during the tremors.
Here is another view with another crane, also rebuilding graves.
This the exhibition yard of a company that creates stone sculptures, the kins that are typically found in shrines, temples and gardens. If you look closely, you can see that most of them are broken.
These are grave stones at the same company. Again, most of them are damaged.
This pile of figures with broken heads was hidden behind the building but visible from the road I was on.
In the white rectangle below the exhibited bottles and cans is a letter that has been taped to the glass. It is from the drink distributor and is addressed to the customer. It says that due to problems caused by the disaster some of the drinks may not be available and apologizes for this. It also suggested that we all work together to recover from the disaster.
