Earthquake Diary 63

The brown spot in the road is where the gas company filled in and repaved the road outside my apartment.
This the store that sells Buddhist paraphernalia (showed it before). Now the windows were covered with blue plastic tarps. The truck appeared to contain things that were being taken out of the store.
There are cars in this gas station but it did not look like they were actually selling anything.
This gas station was definitely and there were no limits on how much each driver could buy.
The Osaka Gas Company was trying to get gas running again along the main road. We will not have gas until well after this work is successfully finished.
This is the back of Xebio, a large sporting goods store. There was almost no damage to the outside of the building and I had been wondering why they had not reopened. Many places did not reopen so that their employees could have time to get their homes in order, however, this picture tells a different story. I recognized some of the wood in this pile as part of the extensive interior structure that had been in the store. From the size of the pile the entire inside of the store must have been devastated.
