These are more pictures of the damage in Yuai-cho.
This family was cleaning up by bring things out into their yard. The structure was not harmed but the inside was badly messed up.
In spite of the damage to the shed, the spring planting is in full swing.
This building appeared to be badly damaged. It was being torn down but again I could not determine whether the work was preplanned or not.
This commercial building was closed. I did not see any inspection paper but it was obviously off-limits or at least limited entry. The next picture shows the left side of the blue door.
Considering the horizontal structural damage, I would not want to be inside during an aftershock.
Yesterday, April 14, was special in a way. We have now had more than 1000 tremors of magnitude 4 and above since the big one.
