Going for Cheesecake 02

 There was a surprising number of birds along the waterway. These to ducks were resting in the sun.

 They did not seem to be afraid of me so I walked up as close as I could and took this picture.

 At one point the paved path widened and had three rows of stones pushed into the concrete.

Every once in a while there were stairs that allowed access to the path along the top of the levee. Also there were places where the drainage system emptied ground water into the stream. These are always constructed so that they can be closed if need be.
