There was not much to see when I was walking along the riverside between the two levees, so I went back to the path at the top. The view was much better. This is the housing area on the north side. It extends all the way to the Center of Sendai. Actually the buildings extend all the way to my apartment, which is half an hour away by subway. The south side is different; there are rice paddies with little clumps of houses. I will get around to showing you that area in later posts.
The following three pictures show a crane that I disturbed. It was looking for lunch when I scared it.
